Furusawa Distillery

Furusawa Distillery has over 100 years of shochu-making history. Located on the Nichinan Coast in Miyazaki, Japan, the distillery flourishes in the warm, sunny climate. It is the only one in the prefecture to still use dozozukuri kura, or traditional mud-wall storehouses.

The client wanted to created an English language brochure to promote its methods and products to overseas visitors. I worked with coordinator Otonau Inc. to transform its Japanese-English translations into engaging, informative copy for the pamphlet.
